Richard L. Feigen & Co., “Richard Wilson and the British Arcadia” through June 25.
I am posting a review today from the New York Times of a wonderful exhibition going on right now at Richard L. Feigen & Co. in New York. A good friend of mine, Ann Guite, put the show together and it was really such an educational and moving exhibition that showed one of the most unrecognized pioneers in early modern painting. Not the most exciting artist or the most visually appealing at all times, Richard Wilson was an innovative and creative artist who changed the course of British painting in the 18th-century. It is definitely worth stopping in!
